Kyle Larson has been on a roll lately. He is arguably one of the hottest drivers in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, and he’s right on the cusp of breaking into championship discussion alongside Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Martin Truex Jr. Last week’s wild battle to the finish was an instant classic, and is in the mix with some of NASCAR’s greatest finishes of all time.
Friday night’s Firecracker 250 at Daytona continued the trend of great finishes. Kyle Larson and Elliott Sadler were bumping and rubbing coming to the checkered flag, when out of nowhere Justin Haley made a pass coming through the tri-oval and across the checkered flag. However, officials declared that Haley had made an illegal pass, crossing below the yellow line to advance his position, handing the win to Kyle Larson. Watch the video and tell me what you think.
