Traveling through Milwaukee, my attention was grabbed by a large apartment complex fire. The three story White Oak Apartments near Glendale, Wisconsin, just a few blocks north of Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee was fully engulfed in flames. A single police car had arrived on scene, but I was not able to see any fire departments. The apartment was a complete loss. One resident posted on Google Reviews that they were not able to reenter the apartment several weeks after the fire, but they could pay $280 to have a company come in and retrieve their personal belongings for a maximum of 30 minutes. What an awful experience to go through. My heart goes out to those affected.
